ServSafe International™ Instructor and Exam Proctor Application Process

To teach the ServSafe International™ Food Safety Course and administer the Exam you must register as a ServSafe International™ Instructor and Exam Proctor.

If you are not planning on teaching the course and only want to proctor the ServSafe International Food Safety Exam you must register as a ServSafe International™ Exam Proctor.

ServSafe International™ Instructor and Exam Proctor

To register as a ServSafe International Instructor and Exam Proctor, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Application Instructions:

  • Select the ServSafe International™ Instructor and Exam Proctor Application.
  • Please complete the information requested. Confirm your acceptance of the Performance Agreement. Complete your application electronically and save it to your computer so that it may be e-mailed or faxed to our office.
  • Email this application to National Restaurant Association at ServSafeInternational@restaurant.org or fax it to +1 312-583-9853.
    • You must include the words "International Application" and your country in the subject line.

  • Incomplete applications will not be processed. Please allow three business days for processing. Once your application has been approved, you will receive an e-mail confirming your Instructor and Exam Proctor status.

ServSafe International™ Exam Proctor

To become a ServSafe International Exam Proctor, applicants must follow the instructions below to apply:

  • Read the ServSafe International™ Exam Administration Handbook.
  • Select the ServSafe International™ Exam Proctor Application.
  • Please complete the information requested. Confirm your acceptance of the Performance Agreement. Complete your application electronically and save it to your computer so that it may be e-mailed or faxed to our office.
  • Email this application to National Restaurant Association at ServSafeInternational@restaurant.org or fax it to +1 312-583-9853.
    • You must include the words "International Application" and your country in the subject line.
